This ode to Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz holds a special place in my heart. When I was little, the Wizard of Oz was always on rotation for the days I spent at home sick. I have so many memories of curling up on the couch, tomato soup and grilled cheese in hand, singing along to every song with my mom. To then grow to be a queer adult only to learn the importance Oz held in the LGBTQ+ community only made that spot in my heart bigger.
